Get to Know Your West Hollywood Dentist, Dr. Ghiam!

With the launch of my newly designed, responsive website, and a new blog I felt it necessary to informally introduce myself as your West Hollywood dentist!
But first off, I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog. My aim for the blog is to keep my patients educated on the topic of dentistry. Whether it be professionally written articles, latest news, or updates happening within our office, you can expect to learn something new… of course to be shared with your friends and family. Consider my blog here as a viable dental resource, or tool, that you can always refer back to.
Dr. Ghiam’s Practice Philosophy
As a native of California, it’s been a blessing that I’ve had the opportunity to enhance people’s lives as a practicing dentist. When I first started out, I quickly realized how important it is to make your patients feel comfortable. The reason why? Because people simply do not like going to the dentist. That is why I believe in a 100% patient centered approach at my practice. Patients should never feel rushed during their appointment, that’s not my style.
When I’m Not Practicing Dentistry…
Dentistry is my passion. However, I do like to spend time having fun outside of dentistry as well! I married my beautiful Wife 2 years ago and hope to have children soon. We love traveling and exploring all of the beautiful places life has to offer. If I had to pick a favorite place I’ve been to, I’d have to say Bora Bora in the French Polynesia. The photo above was taken there – what an amazing experience!
Otherwise I love spending time with family and friends outdoors, whether it’s a simple casual walk or basking in the sun at the beach. Staying active is important to me, which is why I’m avid fan of basketball, swimming, and going on bike rides with my Wife.
